Cookies on this site
We set two kinds of cookie: the ones this site needs to work, and optional ones we only set if you say yes.
Essential
These are always set, because without them the site cannot remember basic things like the cookie choice you just made. They do not track you and they are not shared.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| ait-cookie-consent | This site (browser storage) | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again, and evidences the choice you made and when. | Until you clear it or change your choice |
| bos-launch-march-2026-announcement | This site (browser storage) | Remembers that you dismissed the announcement banner, so it stays dismissed. | Until you clear your browser storage |
Analytics — optional
Set by Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies. They tell us how many people visit, which pages get read, and where visitors arrived from. We use that to decide what to write next.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells returning visits apart from new ones, so visitor counts are not double-counted. | 2 years |
| _ga_G3908FTD74 | Google Analytics | Keeps track of a single visit, so a journey across several pages counts as one session. | 2 years |
Advertising — optional
Set by Google Ads, only if you allow advertising cookies. They connect an enquiry back to the advert that produced it.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Links an enquiry back to the advert that led to it, so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for. | 90 days |
Measuring without cookies
We also use Netlify Web Analytics and Netlify Real User Monitoring, which measure traffic and page-loading speed from our own server logs and timings. They do not set cookies and do not identify you, so they run whatever you choose above.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — it is as easy to turn off as it was to turn on.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential ones may stop parts of this site working properly.
