Privacy notice
Last updated: 27 October 2026.
This notice explains what personal information AIntelligent Technologies Ltd collects through this website, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
AIntelligent Technologies Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here. That means we decide why and how it is used.
- Company number 16284893. Registered office: 17 Chapel Street, Glossop, England, SK13 8AT.
- Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, number ZB968420.
- Questions about this notice or your information: privacy@aintelligenttech.com.
When this notice applies, and when it does not
This notice covers information we collect for our own purposes through aintelligenttech.com.
When we build or run a website for a client, that client decides why visitors' information is collected, and we handle it on their instructions. If you used a site we built for someone else, that site's own privacy notice applies, not this one.
Business OS Cloud is a separate product with its own privacy policy. This notice does not cover it.
What we collect
If you send us an enquiry through the contact form: your name, your email address, the subject you choose, and the message you write. Please do not put sensitive details in the message box. We do not need them.
When you visit the site: your device sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting provider processes this information to serve the site and keep it secure. An IP address can be personal information.
If something goes wrong on the site: error reports and page-load performance measurements. They include the address of the page (without anything after a question mark) and your browser type. The site is set not to send your IP address, cookies or what you typed.
If you choose to allow optional cookies: usage data such as pages visited, browser and device information, and which advert led you here. We use aggregated statistics to understand how the site is used and improve it. Google Analytics uses a random browser identifier in a cookie, so the underlying data is pseudonymous, not fully anonymised. Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address, but Google receives it when your browser connects. Until you allow optional cookies, we load no Google analytics or advertising code on your visit. The cookies page lists each cookie and how long it lasts.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What we do | Why | Legal basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Read and answer your enquiry, and talk about working together if you want that | You asked us to | Taking steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in running our business and replying to you (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Keep the site secure, working and fast: server logs, traffic and speed measurement, error reports | To find faults and stop abuse | Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Count visits with Google Analytics, and see which adverts lead to enquiries with Google Ads | To decide what to write and where to advertise | Your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). We only do this if you allow it |
| Keep a record of an enquiry and of our reply | To handle a complaint or a dispute, and to keep our records accurate | Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) |
We do not use your enquiry to send you marketing emails. If we ever want to, we will ask you separately first. We do not sell your information. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have weighed it against your rights. You can object (see below).
If we contacted you first
We sometimes email people at businesses we think may find our products useful, such as NDT Platform. If we emailed you and you did not contact us first, this section explains why.
- What we hold: your name, your work email address, your job title and your employer, and a note of when we wrote to you.
- Where we got it: historical NDT vacancy adverts and industry directories, checked against current company websites and public business registers. We use current published company role mailboxes, rather than named people from old adverts.
- Why: to tell you about a product we think is relevant to your business. Our legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). We send one introductory email to a company role mailbox and do not follow up unless you reply.
- Stopping it: reply "stop" or email privacy@aintelligenttech.com and we will not write again. We keep only your email address and the date of your stop request on a do-not-contact list to prevent further outreach.
- How long: six months after our last outreach email, then deleted, except the do-not-contact entry. If you reply with an enquiry, the enquiry retention period below applies to that correspondence.
Who handles it for us
| Who | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc. | Hosts the site and receives and stores contact-form submissions and technical request information | May store data outside the UK. Netlify is certified to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension |
| Google Workspace | Delivers and stores our email, including the notification of your enquiry | Google may process data in any country where it or its subprocessors have facilities. Google LLC is certified to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Where that does not apply, Google's contract terms provide standard contractual clauses. |
| Google Analytics and Google Ads | Only if you allow optional cookies: visit counts and advert measurement | As for Google Workspace: Google LLC is certified to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Where that does not apply, Google's contract terms provide standard contractual clauses. |
| Sentry | Receives error reports and page-load performance measurements from the site | European Union (Germany) |
These companies handle your information for us under their own contract terms. We do not give your information to anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries (the form submission and the emails that follow): 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. We keep them in Netlify and in our email.
- Server logs: Netlify controls its technical log retention under its service terms. We have not established a single retention period for all of those logs.
- Your cookie choice: stored in your browser for up to 182 days before we ask again. You can clear it or change your choice sooner.
- Analytics and advertising data: kept by Google for the periods shown on the cookies page.
If a dispute or legal claim is possible, we may keep a record for longer, and only for that purpose.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it, in some cases;
- limit how we use it, in some cases;
- give it to you, or to another organisation, in a usable format, in some cases;
- stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest (you have the right to object).
Where we use your information because you agreed, you can withdraw your agreement at any time. For optional cookies, use "Change cookie settings" on the cookies page. It is as easy to turn off as to turn on.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@aintelligenttech.com. We answer within one month.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
See the cookies page for each cookie, what it does, and how long it lasts. Optional cookies are off until you allow them.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not use your information for a new purpose without telling you first.
